Wrestling Stat Sheet Template

Wrestling is a sport or game in which two opponents fight with each other in a ring. The basic idea behind this game is grappling the other opponent and forcing him to the ground. This is done with a certain list of rules and regulations and there are couples of rounds in each match and the wrestler with most winning points at the end of the game wins the match.

Essential Elements to include in a Wrestling Score Sheet:

Names of the wrestlers along with names of their teams and coaches
Date on which the match is held
Place or name of the fight ring
Name of the referee
Name of the scorekeeper
Match starting time
Score of each opponent at the end of the each round
Total of all points at the end of the game earned by each player

Guidelines for preparing Wrestling Score Sheet:

Keep in mind that there are many kinds of score sheets that are used for keeping score of wrestling matches and if you don't want to use any of them, you can also make your own score sheet for a compensating a personal habit or hobby during wrestling matches.
Mainly, the Wrestling Score Sheet will only include columns but for other information i.e. name of the wrestlers, their team names, their coaches' names, place or point of match i.e. ring house name, date of the match, name of referee and the name of the scorekeeper will also go on the top of the score sheet.
For keeping proper score during the entire wrestling match, you need to understand the abbreviations, terms or jargons used in the match. Besides knowing these specific keywords, you also need to understand the hand signals of the referee.
After putting the above mentioned details on the top of the score sheet, start with a first column on the very left side of the sheet. This column will be used for the number of matches with each row dedicated to a single match and two players.
If there will be only two wrestlers fighting in the ring, you don't need to add the second column for player's names but when there are multiple fights with different opponents, add a second column to mention names of wrestlers in each match.
After that, add 3-5 separate columns for each period or rounds of the match. When 1^st round starts, you will enter the score and points in the 1^st period column and for 2^nd round, use 2^nd period column and so on.
With each period column, add a small column for mentioning the time or duration of the period or round.
For collecting or summing up the scores of each fight or match after the last round, add the column on the very right side of the score sheet. Here you will put the final score and winning points of each opponent and will decide who won the fight.
